Technical Solutions Manager

What You Will Do:

The day to day responsibilities would involve working closely with a number of teams on the following:

  • Possess strong enough cross-functional knowledge to represent service delivery related functions (such as delivery, quality, development life-cycle, etc.) and deal pursuit (such as knowledge of deal life-cycle, business perspective)
  • Assist Sales Engineer during prospect engagements (customer workshops to unpack requirements, technical environments, implementation, etc.)
  • Assists Sales Engineer in deal pursuit to ensure that proposed solutions offer a winning value proposition and ensures with the delivery teams (developers and testers) that solutions are accurately sized (time/cost)
  • Responsible for architecting winning solutions that respond to the customer challenges
  • When required, assist Sales Engineer in responding to RFP’s
  • Accountable to service delivery to ensure solutions are realistically deliverable and as standard as possible — plays a key role to ensure delivery risks are managed/highlighted and appropriate technical internal reviews/sign-offs take place.
  • Develop (code) key components of the solution as part of the delivery team
  • Know Qorus products architecture and capability at all times to ensure best integration with architected solutions.
  • With an overall solution in mind, the Technical Solutions Manager will research, evaluate and select technology, analyse functionality and features, impacts/risks to customer organization, security and users, investigates compatibility with the existing operating environment and recommends final selection.
  • Ensure accurate and complete technical documentation of solutions for internal or external usage
  • Feedback to the Qorus product team on possible enhancement for the products
  • Technically lead and mentor local delivery team
  • Technically lead and guide overseas contractors (India)
  • Work closely with Account Manager, Customer Success Manager and Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of the solution
  • Responsible with the team, to meet deadlines

What You Will Bring to our Team:
Qualifications / Skills:

  • Degree in engineering, computer science or related fields (Preferred)
  • Software architecture experience with enterprise solutions
  • Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and IT systems
  • Good experience in leading and successfully completing complex projects — with experience in scoping and planning —scheduling, resources, deliverables
  • MS SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016 (Beneficial)
  • .Net Framework 3.5/4 (C#, WCF, Silverlight, WPF, SOAP Web Services, ASP.Net, EF, Windows Service)
  • XML, XLST, XSD
  • OpenXML
  • SQL Server 2008 and later
  • JQuery, JavaScript
  • ALM with TFS 2013
  • Integration with MS Dynamics CRM/SalesForce.com (Beneficial)

  • Min 10 years work experience and 3 in a similar role
