Big News: QorusDocs Acquires Shark Finesse – What It Means and Why It’s a Game-Changer

Exciting things are happening at QorusDocs! I’m thrilled to share that QorusDocs has officially acquired Shark Finesse, a UK-based company known for its powerful AI-driven business case solutions. And, this is more than just a business deal; it’s a strategic move to reshape the future of business development, proposals, and value-based selling.

Let me unpack what’s happening, why it matters, and how it’s going to benefit teams like yours.

Why Did QorusDocs Acquire Shark Finesse?

In a word? Value… for our customers, for our partners, and for the future of revenue enablement.

QorusDocs has always focused on helping teams create smarter, faster, more impactful proposals. Shark Finesse, on the other hand, built its reputation around helping organizations prove ROI through compelling, numbers-backed business cases. Put the two together and you get a seamless end-to-end solution: from showcasing business value in the early sales cycle to delivering winning proposals that close deals.

AI is completely transforming how business development teams win business, and QorusDocs is at the forefront. With the acquisition of Shark Finesse, we’re poised to deliver on our clients’ full revenue enablement journey, from proving value to winning the deal.

The “Aha Moment” Behind the Deal

QorusDocs wasn’t just familiar with Shark Finesse; we were one of their customers.

We’d seen firsthand the impact of pairing strong business cases with proposal content. But it really clicked when we noticed more of our customers needing to lead with value, not just respond with documents. That’s when we knew bringing our capabilities together could be a tipping point.

Who Is Shark Finesse?

Shark Finesse is based in Basingstoke, England, just outside London. They specialize in business case software that helps teams build financial justifications for their solutions, using pre-built ROI models and customizable frameworks. Their tools are especially useful for sales and customer success teams needing to quantify the return on investment for potential buyers.

“We’ve known the QorusDocs team a long time, and we’re extremely bullish on the future of our combined products. Business development is one of the most consequential use cases of AI, and together we’re going to help more companies win more pitches.”

Jonathan Keighley, CEO at Shark Finesse

Why Now? AI Is Having a Moment

This acquisition comes at a time when AI is becoming mission-critical in proposal management. In fact, QorusDocs just reported a 360% year-over-year increase in customers using AI to manage proposals. That includes everything from auto-generating content to surfacing the right past answers and ensuring compliance in real time.

AI is no longer a "nice to have"—it’s a strategic advantage.

Here at QorusDocs, we’re seeing AI shift from being a helpful assistant to becoming deeply integrated into every part of the business development process. Imagine AI helping teams instantly quantify benefits, compare against cost, and deliver stunning business case presentations in minutes, not days.

What’s Been Missing? A Unified Story of Value

Traditionally, business cases and proposals have lived in separate silos, value engineers on one side, bid teams on the other. That’s changing fast.

Today’s buyers expect clarity on ROI and confidence in the outcomes. By uniting these workflows, we’re helping teams deliver a single, cohesive story of value—something that’s long overdue in this space.

That alignment can make the difference between a stalled deal and a signed contract.

What Does This Mean for You?

Let’s get to the good stuff—how this impacts our customers:

  • No disruption: Your contracts, support, and service with either company remain unchanged.
  • New opportunities: QorusDocs customers interested in Shark Finesse’s business case tools can speak to their Relationship Manager to learn more.
  • Early value access: Shark Finesse customers curious about QorusDocs’ AI-powered proposal tools can do the same with their account managers.
  • Unified experience in 2026: While both brands will continue to operate independently in the near term, we’re building toward a unified, AI-powered platform that connects business value with proposal creation—seamlessly.

Results That Speak Volumes

We were recently named the 2025 Emotional Footprint Champion by Info-Tech Research Group, thanks to stellar customer satisfaction scores. And, according to SoftwareReviews:

  • Clients using QorusDocs report a 5x increase in RFP responses
  • Average win rates are up by 20%, on average>
  • 100% of customers say QorusDocs is critical to their success

Here’s the thing: it’s only going to get better as the QorusDocs + Shark Finesse combo is committed to delivering outcomes, not just software.

Real Impact, Real Stories

While the full integration is still in the works, early adopters are already seeing results. We’ve learned from innovative customers that tying value metrics directly into proposals makes it easier to align with buyer priorities and stand out in crowded markets. These aren’t just pretty documents; they’re persuasive business stories that drive confident buying decisions.

What’s Next?

The official transaction is expected to close soon, and work is already underway to begin product collaboration. While both teams will continue to operate independently through 2025, we expect to roll out a fully integrated platform in 2026.

I’m most excited about giving teams the power to lead every proposal with a clear, quantified business case—without adding complexity to their workflow. We’re not just building software—we’re reshaping how businesses win.

Whether you're crafting a complex proposal or trying to prove the ROI of your solution, we believe this acquisition will make your job a whole lot easier, and more successful.

If you’ve been thinking about proposal software, there’s now an added bonus: we’ll be bringing Shark Finesse’s business case tools into a unified platform. Curious about how we can help you? We’d love to talk to you
