New workspace brings industry context and a deep understanding of legal business development workflows to AI agents, as legal teams rely on AI to boost proposal win rates

BELLEVUE, WA / October 27, 2026 / QorusDocs, the pursuit intelligence platform trusted by Am Law 200 and Global 200 law firms, today launched QPilot Workspace, a shared space where law firm business development teams and lawyers work alongside AI agents to build pitches, proposals and RFP responses. QPilot Workspace is guided by pursuit intelligence that understands legal services workflows and grounds every pitch in a firm's real matters, attorney bios and pitch history.

Law firms are already integrating AI into legal research, document review and drafting. But as clients scrutinize legal costs and demand clearer value, the next frontier is using AI to show clients why the firm is the right choice and win more business.

QorusDocs’ research found that legal services firms are increasingly linking AI use to increased new business win rates or revenue. Legal pursuits can be high stakes and highly complex–16% of firms say 50+ people are involved in reviewing an RFP response, for example. However, RFPs remain central to law firms’ growth strategies. Nearly three quarters of legal respondents (74%) said 50% or more of existing client sales come from RFPs, while 46% say 50% or more of new business revenue comes from winning RFPs.

Winning legal work depends on institutional knowledge: matter history, relationship context and what worked in the last pitch. That knowledge lives in people's heads and firm systems, not in a general-purpose model's training data. It is also among a firm's most sensitive information, which is why many firms building their own AI tools are cautious about exposing experience files and client matter data. However, pursuits can quickly grow costly when multiple partners or practice areas are involved.

“Every law firm has access to the same AI models, so context becomes the differentiator in winning new business,” said Ray Meiring, CEO of QorusDocs. “Generic AI tools won’t give you a competitive edge in the pitch. That’s why we built QPilot Workspace for legal services firms. It’s grounded in our pursuit intelligence, which understands legal business development workflows and builds proposals on a firm’s people, matters and pitch performance insights to help it win.”

Inside QPilot Workspace, agents are paired with BD, marketing and practice teams to work through each pursuit in one place:

  1. Open: PursuitIQ draws on the firm's past pitches and panel history to help teams decide which opportunities are worth pursuing.

  2. Prepare: Agents surface the right matters, attorney bios and credentials for the client and the practice.

  3. Draft: Agents assemble a polished, on-brand pitch, RFP response or deck from the firm's approved content, directly in Word and PowerPoint.

  4. Personalize: Lawyers add the client history and nuance only they know, reviewing and refining rather than writing from scratch.

  5. Review: BD, marketing and practice leads co-author and review in one shared space, across offices and time zones, without version chaos.

QPilot Workspace connects to Microsoft 365, Litera Foundation, Intapp DealCloud and iManage, so experience data, attorney bios and approved firm content flow into every pitch without re-entry. It runs inside Microsoft 365, and new Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors let teams use QorusDocs directly inside Copilot, Claude or ChatGPT. Built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI, QorusDocs keeps client data, matter information and firm IP managed in the firm's Microsoft 365 environment and never uses it to train public models. The platform is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant, with role-based permissions and approval workflows.

QorusDocs works with leading law firms including DLA Piper, Baker McKenzie, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and Womble Bond Dickinson.

“Embedding QorusDocs across the firm has helped transform the way we approach proposals,” said Neetu Sawhney, head of pitching at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. “By making knowledge and expertise easier to access and enabling teams to collaborate more effectively, we've reduced the time spent searching for content and managing the proposal process. That allows us to focus on understanding our clients' needs, resulting in more authentic, tailored proposals that better reflect our expertise and helping to create stronger client connections.”
