We’ve just launched our 5th annual survey focused on the state of sales and proposal management.
Every year we gather insights from sales operations and proposal management professionals responsible for generating key documents such as sales proposals, bids, pitch decks, presentations, and other customer-facing documentation. And this year is one like no other, with the COVID-19 pandemic impacting all companies in some way.
The results from this user-generated survey will provide you with industry insight and feedback from your peers about their learnings and best practices - ultimately helping you to work more efficiently.
What’s the focus of this year’s survey?
In this survey, we dive into questions around how many proposals you generate monthly versus your win rates; how you keep your proposal content up to date; whether you sell through a partner channel; what technology your Proposal, Sales, Marketing, and remote teams are using; and the biggest challenges you face, to mention a few key areas.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we also pose questions around your work in these unprecedented times, with the aim of learning how you’re handling remote work; what’s working well and what isn’t; how you’re managing to collaborate on projects; and other similar points. For some companies, this shift came more naturally than others, and we’re eager to understand this on a deeper level; to gauge where gaps exist, where processes can be enhanced, and how these adjustments are currently shaping the future of work.
Who should participate in the survey?
The survey is aimed at bid, proposal, and sales operations professionals, predominantly in the technology industry, but it is not limited to these domains.
Historically, we’ve received submissions from 25+ industries globally, representing small and mid-size businesses, as well as large enterprises.
What can you expect from the survey results?
The survey will run for the next few weeks, and the results will be consolidated and shared in both a report and follow-up webinar due to take place in July 2020.
We’ll discuss all the most interesting points, including the ‘new norms’ that companies are adopting as the world adapts to doing business in the midst of a global pandemic.
