A couple of months ago, I shared my favorite legal marketing podcasts. Normally quite brief, podcasts are the perfect solution for busy legal professionals who want to expand or deepen their knowledge while on the go.

But, with all the excellent reading material out there, it would be a missed opportunity to gather fascinating insights into the realm of marketing, business growth and the legal industry on the whole if you didn’t set aside a moment every now and then to turn a few pages – literally or figuratively.

With this in mind, I’ve selected 10 books to share with you!

5. Our Iceberg is Melting

Authors: John Kotter and Holger Rathgeber

Amazon rating: 4.4 out of 5 stars

This book is based on Kotter’s pioneering research on the eight steps of change. It includes a classic business fable about a group of penguins that live on an iceberg off the coast of Antarctica and their reactions to a potential problem discovered by one of the penguins, cleverly alluding to human responses to new circumstances in the workplace. It will no doubt be appreciated by those in some law firms who are familiar with resistance to change.
