3 reasons why you can’t miss our proposal management webinar
August 17, 2017
On September 7th we’re hosting a webinar for bid, proposal, RFP, tender and business development professionals in the UK, Europe, India and Australia. And this isn't one to miss!
Our guest, Robyn Haydon, is no stranger to the challenges of bid and proposal professionals. She’ll be joined by Jonathan Keighley from Qorus, and together they will unpack the mindset, tools, and techniques you need to break down internal silos, get your team working together, and build the team engagement that will help you win more bids.
Like most things in life, value is often only uncovered through a change in perspective. So if you’re trying to figure out whether to attend our proposal management webinar, here are three reasons why you really can’t miss it.
Time is not your friend
A study by time and attendance management software provider, BQuTAMS, reveals that you could be struggling to manage your day, and that’s pretty common – yet there’s nothing fun about being common.
The study showed that employees are most productive between 9 AM and 12 PM. After that, productivity tends to drop. As a bid professional, your ever-growing workload isn’t going to stop piling up because you’re tapped out.
Here’s where things get a little unfair: BQuTAMS found that 66% of people read emails seven days a week and expect to receive a response the same day. Are you one of those people? Is your sales team filled with people like that? Is the client waiting on your proposal one of those people?
If you’re struggling to manage your workload because your tools and techniques are failing you, you need to join this webinar to learn about smarter ways to get more done.
Internal silos are hurting productivity and your team
Queens University of Charlotte produced a very telling infographic titled “Communication in the Modern Workplace”. Their findings point to problems that you may be experiencing within your team and business.
Here’s what the graphic shows:
39% of surveyed employees believe that people in their own organization don’t collaborate enough.
97% of employees and executives believe lack of alignment within a team impacts the outcome of a task or project.
According to the survey done by New Economics Foundation in London, employee happiness and satisfaction on the job leads to three times their normal productivity and creativity.
If you’re struggling to breakthrough impenetrable silos and your team is less than enthusiastic about the job, Jonathan Keighley and Robyn Haydon will be tackling these and other organizational challenges weighing your bid team down.
Business is not winning
It’s no secret that a business is only as successful as the people in it. For some businesses, success is not a recipe. Once in a blue moon it’s smooth sailing and, despite the obvious cracks in the floor, we’re able to do just enough to get by. Nobody wants to build a career or a business on flukes. If this sounds even the slightest bit like your situation, Robyn and Jonathan will share insights on how to turn things around in your business.
